• Enable Area mathematics educators to establish connections with colleagues and share ideas, and experiences
  

• Disseminate current research and information concerning the effective teaching and learning of mathematics

• Serve as a link to area mathematics teachers to local, regional, state, and national events and news related to mathematics education
